Our Family

The Levisons

Along with the breeding program David Levison runs a 500 acre farm which produces corn, soy, wheat, and oats. He makes maple syrup each spring and enjoys caring for the horses with the help of his Jack Russell Terrier, Bertie.

Joy Levison is a lawyer with more than 30 years experience in Barrie, Ontario in private practice. She enjoys riding the horses in the evening after work and singing with David at St. Thomas Church at Shanty Bay.

Jana Levison has her Ph. D. in Civil Environmental Engineering from Queen's University, where she met her husband Andrew Binns. Jana works as an Assistant Professor of Water Resources Engineering at University of Guelph. She enjoys being outside, as well as practising her viola.

Lena Levison works as large animal veterinarian. She has been confidently working with farm animals from a young age. Lena has spent much time singing in choirs, such as the University of Guelph Women's Choir.

Morgan Levison has an Honours degree in both Science and Music and a Master's degree in Human Geography. She works as a Health Promoter and has positively influenced many lives in Southern Ontario.

Growing up on the farm, the girls had a unique and enjoyable upbringing that included showing their Holstein calves at 4H competitions.
