Glendening Tuilly – Born 1991

Out of Iesha (Pandora X Sid Old Boy) and sired by Burioso (Polida X Furioso II)

Tuilly is a 17 hand palomino mare who has produced 6 outstanding foals for Glendening Farm. Sired by Burioso, a stallion with impressive jumping lines, Tuilly has passed on the bloodlines ability for scope and movement to each of her foals. Her first foal, Glendening Tobiaz, is currently owned and ridden by eventer Erin MacDonald, and was the top Canadian Sport Horse and Training Level horse within the OHTA for 2009. Other foals are currently beginning their training, and will be out in competition within the next year. While Tuilly has been an outstanding mare for the Glendening barn, she is nearing retirement within the breeding program, and is currently open. However, two of her young offspring (a 2 year old and a weanling) are still currently for sale. Please email for details on these fillies.

Glendening Adora – Born 1994 (Photo coming soon)

Out of Pandora’s Choice (Pandora X Choice Mink) and sired by Adamo (Octavia X Saluut)

Glendening Adora is a buckskin mare standing at 16’3 hands. A mare with a massive stride and smooth movement, she has produced multiple offspring for the Glendening barn, all of which have an extremely supple stride and smooth gaits. Registered as a Canadian Sport Horse, Adora also has holsteiner in her pedigree on her sire’s side, and thouroghbred on her dams. All of Adora’s foals are intelligent, willing to work, and a pleasure to be around. Adora is nearing the end of her time in the breeding program, and is currently open. However, a few of her offspring are still in the Glendening barn, and would make wonderful prospects in a variety of disciplines. See the horses for sale section to see her older offspring, and contact us for details on younger prospects.

Glendening Avalon – Born 1997

Out of Iesha (Pandora X Sid Old Boy) and sired by Adrian (Abiza X Merkur)

Avalon is a beautiful, 16’2 hand grey mare which has been within the Glendening breeding program for 5 years, producing two grey fillies out of different sires (Ferrari GS and Hilton GS). Before becoming a brood mare, Avalon competed successfully under Morgan Levison up to the pre-training level in eventing, both within Ontario and South Carolina. As a three-year-old, Avalon competed at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, placing 4th in the lieutenant and governor general’s cups under the guidance of Sarah Irving of Grandview Farm. She also was crowned 1st in the suitability-under-saddle class within the Canadian Sport Horse Show, ridden by Morgan Levison. Avalon is a kind mare with tremendous scope in jumping, huge movement and a wonderful temperament, which she has passed on to both of her foals which are currently for sale. Avalon is expected to have another foal sired by Hilton GS in June, 2010.

Glendening Papillon – Born 1998

Out of Pandora’s Choice (Pandora X Choice Mink) and sired by Adrian (Abiza X Merkur)

Papillion, a new addition to the Glendening breeding program, is a 16’2 hand grey mare, and a half-sister to 3 of Glendening’s other brood mares. The previous mount of Joy Levison, Papillion is currently bred to Hilton GS, and is due to have her foal in June of 2010. We are very excited for this new member of our herd to begin her time as a Glendening brood mare.

Glendening Portia – Born 1999

Out of Pandora’s Choice (Pandora X Choice Mink) and sired by Heinzlemann (Haiti X Bukephalos)

Portia is a stunning, 17’3 hand bay mare, sired by Heinzlemann and out of Pandora’s Choice. As a four year old, Portia was bred to Heiling, a stallion owned and imported from Germany by Galten Farms of Markham, ON. This cross gave Glendening the beautiful gelding, Glendening Padraig, who has been recently sold.  After the year off to be part of the breeding program, Portia went back into competition, under the leadership of David Levison. The pair competed up to the preliminary level in eventing, and captured the Veteran Rider award for the Ontario Horse Trials Association in 2006. In the summers of 2007 and 2008, Portia was ridden by David’s daughter, Morgan Levison, who also successfully competed at the Preliminary level with two clean jumping rounds at the Grandview Summer Horse Trials. Portia has had the last summer off, due to the educational endeavours of Morgan Levison, and will be bred this year so as to reclaim her spot in the breeding program.
